1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using BeBrief, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use BeBrief.

2. Aviation Responsibility and Official Sources

The pilot in command remains solely responsible for preflight planning, weather evaluation, regulatory compliance, aircraft readiness, risk acceptance, and go/no-go decisions.

BeBrief may support advisory briefing review, official briefing requests, flight-plan filing, filed-plan lifecycle actions, and Flight Service notifications. A workflow is only official to the extent that the applicable Flight Service or FAA-approved provider accepts and returns the relevant record.

3. Sample and Demo Data

BeBrief includes free sample/demo briefing content so users can inspect the app before subscribing. Sample data is not current, not official, not provided by Leidos Flight Service, and not for flight use.

4. Data and Availability Limitations

Weather, NOTAM, TFR, PIREP, winds, route, aircraft, subscription, push notification, and Flight Service data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, incorrectly formatted, or changed by third-party providers. You must verify critical information with official sources before flight.

5. Flight Service and Filing Workflows

When you use official briefing, filing, retrieve, amend, activate, close, cancel, or related lifecycle workflows, BeBrief transmits the information required for that request to Flight Service-backed systems. You are responsible for entering accurate pilot, aircraft, route, timing, equipment, fuel, passenger, and contact information.

BeBrief does not guarantee that a flight plan, amendment, cancellation, activation, closeout, notification, or other request will be accepted, delivered, processed, displayed, or synchronized by Flight Service or any third-party service.

6. Aircraft Readiness and Performance

Aircraft setup, weight and balance, fuel, performance, speed, runway, and readiness features are setup aids and estimates only. They do not replace POH/AFM/NATOPS data, current weight and balance records, operator procedures, maintenance records, inspections, or pilot judgment.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

• BeBrief Pro subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trials or introductory offers are available only when returned by Apple and RevenueCat for the selected product.
• Refunds and subscription management are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
• Pro access may depend on successful RevenueCat, Apple, and BeBrief server-side entitlement verification.

8. Account Terms

• You are responsible for maintaining account security and device access.
• You must provide accurate information when using briefing, filing, aircraft, profile, notification, and subscription workflows.
• You may not misuse BeBrief, attempt to bypass access controls, submit unlawful data, overload services, or interfere with the app or its providers.
• We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, security risk, legal reasons, or violation of these terms.

9. Intellectual Property

BeBrief, including its software, design, copy, branding, graphics, and workflows, is owned by BeBrief or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

10. Third-Party Aircraft Models and Assets

BeBrief may display third-party 3D aircraft models or visual assets as interface aids. These are visual aids only and are not aircraft technical data, performance data, or official documentation. Third-party assets remain subject to their original licenses and attribution requirements.

11. Third-Party Services

BeBrief relies on third-party services including Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Sentry, Leidos Flight Service/1800WXBRIEF-backed systems, and other aviation or platform services. Use of those services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and operational rules.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeBrief is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. BeBrief and its developers are not liable for flight operations, decisions, accidents, incidents, regulatory violations, data errors, service outages, missed notifications, rejected filings, delayed updates, or damages arising from use of or reliance on the app.

13. Changes to BeBrief

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue BeBrief or any feature at any time. We may also update these terms. Continued use of BeBrief after changes means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
