1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BeBrief ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Important Aviation Disclaimer

Weather data, NOTAMs, TFRs, and other information provided by the App may be:

• Delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate
• Missing critical updates or amendments
• Subject to transmission errors

The Pilot in Command is solely responsible for all preflight planning, weather evaluation, and go/no-go decisions. BeBrief is intended as a supplementary reference tool only.

3. Performance Calculations Disclaimer

Takeoff, landing, and weight & balance calculations provided by the App are estimates only. These calculations:

• Do not account for all variables affecting aircraft performance
• Are based on generalized data and may not match your specific aircraft
• Should never replace the Pilot's Operating Handbook (POH) or Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM)

Always refer to your aircraft's official POH/AFM for actual performance data.

4. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• BeBrief and its developers assume NO LIABILITY for any flight operations, accidents, incidents, or decisions made based on information provided by the App
• The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of BeBrief, you agree to:

• Obtain official weather briefings before every flight
• Verify all critical information from official sources
• Use the App only as a supplementary reference tool
• Maintain sole responsibility for flight safety decisions
• Comply with all applicable aviation regulations

6. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice

7. Account Terms

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of BeBrief are owned by BeBrief and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Data Sources

BeBrief aggregates data from public government sources including:

• NOAA Aviation Weather Center
• FAA NOTAM System
• FAA NASR
• National Weather Service

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
